More Vintage Comparisons (1665, Omega SM300, Doxa)

Post by RALAustin » Sun Jan 12, 2014 5:50 am

Took some shots of the three vintage watches I had on nato, the Doxas and a couple new wrist shots. Love the fact that these are all 20mm with lug room to try out a lot of different straps. I got a cool leather nato-esque strap in yesterday that I will play around with two and Stew is making a strap for me that should see time on the 1665.

Such an awesome trio. The SM300 and the Doxa more than hold their own against the amazing 1665.

That alone would be a bad ass collection for any vintage dive watch collector. Just incredible.

Rob is the man, boys. No kidding there. :headbang:

Rob, all great pieces, I particularly like the seascrambler on the black nato.
New watches are nice but you cant beat honest aging IMHO. :salute:

really cool watches you got there, I like the leather strap on the omega in one of the pics as well.

I like how that sea dweller has a date complication but no cyclops magifier on the crystal
