My wrist is 7.5" so I guess I prefer the bigger watches, I like the look of all the H2O/Helberg watches to be honest, why is there only 2 dials in the Marlin configurator do you know?Danny_T wrote:7.62mm wrote:Danny, two questions
1. This or the CH8?
2.That bracelet is it a must have/worth it?
What is your sweet spot watch size wise?
The H20 bracelet is fantastic. It's also reversible, so you can wear it coarse side up or smoother side up. But the bracelet will not work on the CH8 since it does not have drilled lug holes to pop the spring bar.
Also what look do you prefer? Ch8 has that nice vintage look and is homage to the Briel Manta Ray. And I would say that finish on it is super. Sunray brushing and very high polished chrome like edges, bezel and caseback.

I'd like to apologise to absolutely nobody
Re: H20 Marlin - Configurator is up
Well Im not big on the mop dials and turbine bezels, but other than that I want them all, but wallet is more happy in the 600 Euro range

Re: H20 Marlin - Configurator is up
I like the Marlin the best of all H2O's so far. Looks like a great watch. Very GP SeaHawk-ish.

Re: H20 Marlin - Configurator is up

This shot/angle makes me happy. Excited to see mine in the flesh.
Re: H20 Marlin - Configurator is up
You must be in the miyota movement option. Dials are limited with that movement. If you want more dial options you have to go the ETA route7.62mm wrote:My wrist is 7.5" so I guess I prefer the bigger watches, I like the look of all the H2O/Helberg watches to be honest, why is there only 2 dials in the Marlin configurator do you know?Danny_T wrote:7.62mm wrote:Danny, two questions

I like the square bezel also. Which is what I got for my 40mm Marlin on pre- order. Glossy blue dial and bulk/blue bezel inlay and chrome hands.7.62mm wrote:Well Im not big on the mop dials and turbine bezels, but other than that I want them all, but wallet is more happy in the 600 Euro range

Re: H20 Marlin - Configurator is up
40mm Marlin + Isofrane = WIN !!
Feels and wears super on isofrane!!! And very light!

When I took the bracelet off I was VERY pleasantly surprised to see this

2 sets of spring bar holes to allow pretty much any kind of strap to be used and to minimize gap. Great news !

I agree, the SeaHak specs wise was to big for me but when I tried one on it fit perfect. I just couldn't afford it.matt.wu wrote:I like the Marlin the best of all H2O's so far. Looks like a great watch. Very GP SeaHawk-ish.

I really like this version Danner.

H20 Marlin - Configurator is up
Thx Terry! Gonna try a couple Toxic NATOs is a bit. Here is the navy blue Phenomenato on the 40mm.
It's fantastic on a NATO! I cannot tell you how great this size is and how comfy this wears. I believe this watch will appeal to MANY of you here.
Check it out

I also asked my wife to pose a couple wrist shots with the 40mm on isofrane. Looks good on her. Oh and I forgot to place a sapphire bezel inlay on the bezel. So the look may throw you off a bit.

How do the bezel inlays stay on the bezel? Are they easy to swap?
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.

Great Danny

Re: H20 Marlin - Configurator is up
The bezel inlays are adhered tot he bezel with a special silicone and cannot be removed once set. Due to Clemens having to rush me the samples he just sent the inlays loose with one bezel rather than sending me multiple completed bezels. All I did was lay them on the bezel for the photos. They are not glued.Axelay2003 wrote:How do the bezel inlays stay on the bezel? Are they easy to swap?

Re: H20 Marlin - Configurator is up
I keep configuring a 40mm blue dial with the blue/black bezel and it's getting hard to resist.

Got the good camera out and took some detailed high res shots. These shots really showcase the smaller wearing 40mm Marlin.

I still hate the enormous lugs and end links. I just can't get past it.

As with all of Clemens' products, it looks very well made but just too damn bulky

Re: H20 Marlin - Configurator is up
This is the best watch he's made, but as others have eluded to, the lugs are too long and fat. The case finishing looks excellent and the MOP dial is gorgeous.
