We all have different tastes. Some of us just want the most bang for the buck regardless of "design" provenance. I'm that moron.

Bad move to share that link here on a post full of positive feedback.

Are you not the one that started the post there with the comparison to the luxmento and that you would never give your money to Todd?? You are watches503 correct?

Mine arrived yesterday the bezel is tight and precise. It lines up well. It is running approx. -4.5 seconds/ 24 hours. Here it is on a ultra comfortable Art Kodiak one piece strap.

I will try it on 2 piece straps when I have time. I have a ton to try on it, for now it is easier to slip through one piece straps. It wears well on the one piece strap. I haven't found it too tall or top heavy on them. I am hoping it ends up being a great strap watch for many straps to change it up. It has worn very comfortably running around to hockey last night and those morning. I am very pleased with it.

Yup. That's what I just said replying to doink doink. I'm that moron that wouldn't give Todd my money but I'd buy a preowned grey one.

It's a bad move for Todd to share a link of that thread of another forum to this forum.

I also said here on DWC that I'm watches503 on my WTB Baltic Shield and Turtle thread. So yeah. But I left it there until doink doink brought it up.

Why disappointed ? I ain't hiding from anyone and it's not like I'm lying or making up anything here. I'd love to buy a preowned grey one.

So, you want a Baltic Shield but you don't want the money going to Todd, you wan't a "middle man" to make the purchase and then you give them the money...why?

Hi Luis,
First off, I love opinionated people. I am one as well, at times, and I believe it makes our world a much more interesting one. ;)
I am the first to admit I have some history with WUS. Stems from me deciding to say no to the five figure $$$ they asked me for to become a sponsor a few years ago. I just didn't see the value for a small, start-up like me. In the time I was a member there, I met many great people there and enjoyed the experience of being a watch and strap nut.

Second, I am glad you like my Gray dial version. There aren't a lot of Anthracites on the market and I always loves the combination with yellow accents. I actually like the black/blue combination just as much and always felt those two colors went well together.
I wanted to offer a choice though, as choices are great... especially in this "hobby" we all love.

Lastly, please.... if I'm ever actually on fire and water is not handy, do piss on me and try and save a life. I have a wonderful, loving family and tremendous friends and would not want to lose them at such a young age with so many places I still want to see and things I want to do. I promise, if I survive, I will give you a free watch of your choice and will even throw in a few straps for your humane act.

-Todd @ KWC

It's a dick move to bad mouth a guy and his brand when you don't know him or the product. Then to act differently here, just shows us that you know it's a dick move.

As for Todd bringing the thread up here; we occasionally find folks who come into the DWC and do exactly what you did. If you take away anything from your DWC experience, if should be that were a pretty tight knit bunch and we respect full disclosure.

Got my black dial. Looks great. Waiting for my grey dial. Pics later. There's a a little play in the bezel but one would have to intentonally twist it. Doesnt bother me. On my Ball Deepquest the bezel doesnt have play but its so easy to turn that brushing against it will make it spin. The Shield has good frictionn to prevent spinning. I think the watch delivers on aesthe5ics and value. I dont get some of the hate against Todd qnd the Shield.
