I picked up a new GSD Olivio that I'm not feeling (tad too long). Will hit you up to see if you want it. I feel like I got a good price on it.

It was pretty surreal, blowing up the watch-box like that, hoping that the piece would still be there when I got everything moved out. Nice to have to top-cover from Gordo on this one, also. Having someone you trust and who knows watches to have a detailed look at the piece before actually putting cash on the table is pretty huge.

And I have definitely not yet indicated to the Frau the implicit expectations regarding strap purchases , Keith. At this point, that would be a bridge too far. I will introduce that particular subject incrementally, one strap at a time.

And now the waiting-game starts ... Gordo not getting back to Ottawa until Monday ...

Do it, Nick. I was out of PAMs for sometime, as the 024 experience was a bit of a bummer. Being able to try out Gordo's 104 sure clinched it, for me.

I think the longer markers on the 104 are what make the Riva rock so hard on it.
That said, looking forward to the coming strap madness...
