Thanks again guys. Definitely feeling the love! LOL

:stir: So...I figure since we're still getting to know one another I might as well say this early, not meaning to step on any toes. But I'm not a fan of movie theme based watches. Don't get me wrong, I love the Omega Bond Seamaster 2226.80.00, but I couldn't pull the trigger on buying a glorified movie prop. Love seeing real watches in movies, in fact I caught a Panerai on David Caruso's wrist on CSI Miami reruns recently and a real police detective wearing a Tag on The First 48. I must say though, having M run through the features for Bond in the movie and the ultimately having 007 deal harshly with the bad guys using it is quite satisfying. I just wouldn't personally own one that had a reference to the movie.

And this remake of Sigourney Weaver's Seiko from Alien...check temperature, take Valium, apply ice pack to forehead :snooty: :hand:

Oh no you di'n't! Ok so the Aliens reissue is ugly as sin but it's at least got a cool dial. And the chrono functions are nice. There is no shortage of bad Omega Bond movie themes watches out there. I'm still waiting for one with a laser. ;)

I actually like the face of that model but that big lug hanging out there on the side just screams Space 1999 or Playschool toys. :snooty:

I'm with you, I dislike all the 007 references on the Seamasters.

Dial with 007 all over it, hate it.

007 on the end of the second hand, hate it (I also dislike the Olympic logo on the end of the second hand but generally like stuff on the end. Strange huh?)

Bond family crest all over the dial and on the second hand, doubly hate it.

007 on the case back I can deal with and maybe (a very maybe maybe) 007 on the deployant.

And by the way it's Q not M.
