You guys might be overthinking. Weiss is a legit company, makes by all accounts a fine timepiece, for a reasonable price. I want a white dial myself.

Two suggestions for Weiss:

1) Redesign the logo, it is truly awful
2) Invest in some new photography for the web site

I think the current logo and terrible official photos (compared to owner photos I've seen) do the watches a huge disservice.

White is $950. The blue dial is an LE of 100 pieces.

The latte dial felt the best imo and I have seen them all in person (except the new blue of course). There is a store in downtown LA (and some others all over the country where you can check out Weiss Watches)

Agreed. The last watch I bought was a Weiss. I wore it two weeks ago for two weeks straight and never thought about changing watches. I think for the price, you're not going to find a watch that is assembled in the US for much less.

Latte is the one that stood out to me initially as well. I still want one. I would like a little cleaner case finishing, but I can always have someone else do it after the fact.

It's a solid watch at a solid price for a more American made watch than most "American" companies offer these days.

I think when you buy the Weiss, you buy the '"American made"... Sure you can that style watch for a lot less or a lot more.
To me it was worth buying at that price because most components were US made and the watch was assembled in the US as well. I wish more brands did this. So to me that's value added, to others it may not be.
I liked the watch a lot in white and have been looking at the blue LE and a black LE on some sites.
The watch does wear big tho, long more exactly. The OEM strap doesn't work too well for the watch size. But that's never a problem for me as I always change straps

The inside corner of the bottom left lug was rounded. Not like the others. He said it was due to their hand finishing process/tool or something... I moved on... Not a huge deal.

I would like one if they made a 40mm, this style of dial is to big for me. I really like the blue version.

Oh and you won't find any watch with this many features made in the US for this price. Kobold would charge you 5k for all of these features.

That is one SWEET grey toxic strap!

I have been wavering on buying one these. I like the made in LA, independent craftsman story that goes with the watch.

Probably the only thing holding me back relates to something Wayne noted here. I'm not sure about whether the clock hand "I" in Weiss would drive me insane.

Still, for the price I can't think of a watch I'd want more. It's clean, sized right, and looks awesome on fabric!
