After some searching, eventually I got one for Xmas
I wrote to Sinn customer service and they kindly replied to me:
Dear Mr. .....,
Thank you for your request.
The mentioned watch is a self-winding wristwatch, Sinn model 801. It has an ETA 2873 movement or an FE 4611A movement.
The case is made of stainless steel, there exist versions with mineral crystal and acrylic crystal. The luminescent material of dial and hands is coated with tritium.
Product launch has been in 1983 and the line has been discontinued in 1993.
Kind regards
Sinn Customer Service
The case is as massive as the Heuer 980.023's one and the dial is simply beautiful:

I've never seen this model, it's beautiful-
Where did you find it?
I've seen a lot of vintage Sinn that I like that are incredibly rare.
Congrats!!

That's very nice. Case very similar to Heuer's 023.

Dodane made it as well. They are hard to find and pretty expensive too.

Very Seiko-ish dials on those. What are the dimensions? Short lugs so L2L looks short.
only accurate watches are interesting

Its a 41mm without crown and 15mm thick. Lug to lug is 48mm.
If you ever had a Heuer or TAG-Heuer 980.023 or 980.023N you know exactly the size.

Congrats use to own this one kind of wished I did not sell it a few years ago sold a few good ones to help with the cost when I moved to Montana.

French issued same case and bezel as the Sinn . Cool dial and I all ways liked that case design

Nice catch. I searched for an 801 off & on for a couple years, never even found one for sale. Enjoy!

Cant say that I've ever seen one of those before. Very cool and unusual. Good job on that one.
