I can't say I've ever longed for a lume crown, But it's cool and funky in an Omega way. This watch:
http://www.omegawatches.com/collection/ ... 3445103001

Is bad ass. Omega seems to going all in with the blue/Ti theme - I wish they'd invest in some blue date wheels. That blue BP looks very nice, and the white on blue date pushes it over the top.

I've got the blue-dialled AT 8500 with black date wheel and the color difference isn't actually that noticeable. But I agree that a blue date wheel would be a nice touch.

Looks a lot more tasteful than I imagined. It looks great IMO-not a deal breaker or a must have etc-but a nice touch.

I'm sure this is true, since I didn't notice it when I checked out the Ti PO in person. It's the first thing I notice in a macro shot, however.

Have to admit I like the GSOTM much better than the DSOTM, but in the end both are out of my range for the foreseeable future.
And yes, lumed crown is geeky, but it makes me smile. I like it.

Nice touch i like it, probably invisible 99% of the time anyway.
I'm really warming up to a regular classic Speedmaster with 9300 mov't.

Looks like some dealers are starting to take delivery of them. Here's a wrist shot I saw at another forum.

Sharp looking both. I'm partial to the base version.

That's just plain hot. I love the bi compax design vs the tri (so much cleaner/legible).

The best part is the 12-hour counter. Not a separate 30-minute one.

I agree. It's a nice way to display elapsed time, though I'm a classical sort of guy so the hand wound three register will always be my favorite.

The Speedy Pro has no peers. But it's a PITA to read hours and minutes on it.
