There are dozens of numbers associated with Panerai. What is it that makes you like one over the other? What model do you like the best and why?
Is it the sandwich dial?
Is it the painted dial?
The movement? (I know ETA's

)
The case?
Complications?

Don't like anything over 44 or 45 for the Radiomirs...
Tend to like less on the dial....

Less on the dial too so I'm a 'Base' fan. Also dig the OP logo so the 000 is my favorite Luminor.
I'm also starting to really dig Rads, particularly Drews Black Seal.

I like the 372 above all (294 and 360 are also amazing modern PAMs). Base, plexi, sandwich dial, and the rad-style case with the Luminor CG make it for me. I'd like it better in 44mm for everyday wear, but until then, it's the only Panerai I need.

Brushed 1950s case
No cyclops
Quick release
Titanium
"In-house" movement
Simple presentation of complications (233 dot dial is a great example)
Chrome/metallic hands
Sandwich dial
This is really why the 233 works so well for me. I need to get another one...

I like pretty much all of them but Radiomir models with wire lugs.
Also wish they made a 422/372/305/389 in 44mm instead of 47.

For me
Base clean dial
Sandwich dial preferred
44mm Luminor case. Sits nice and flat.
No polished case
So 176 is the best and I also like the 177
Exception is the 243 which I love even though it's big and heavy for me and doesn't always sit right on my wrist b

I like pretty much all of the 'historic' models, both Luminor and Radiomir. I long for a 44mm 372.

I really love my 104!
When I was first looking, I was like most...I wanted a sandwich dial with brushed finish.
But, in person, the 104 is awesome and hits all of my hot buttons.
The 44mm polished luminor case with quick release pins is fantastic and is the perfect size for me.
The more that I see the sandwich dials in person, the more I think that I would get bored of it. My painted dial has a great tone and the subdial is very nice.
The Cyclops over the date is under the dial, which I really like. That way it is easier to wipe down, unlike my Submariner....anyhoo, here is a photo of one of my favorites from my collection:

I want a 233. These two keep me pretty satisfied:

For me, it's the 40mm models. They are under the radar, less dooschy, and have great resale value.

My 372 (47mm) and 512 (42mm) pretty much cover all I want in Panerai for me. The thing they have in common I guess is that they are sandwich dials that are in the simpler side.

After wearing Adam's 372 last night I'm convinced my next one will be 47mm. Maybe a 305.

Oh yeah, the 233 is also outstanding. Love that domed sapphire.

That's a classy look.

187 does it for me. Chrono with brushed 1950 case in ss at 47mm...ticks all my boxes.

I'm not in PAM mode right now, but the 532 is one I've wanted for a long time. I just don't know if I can handle a 47 mm watch and be happy.

That does look killer. I'm not sure myself. Panerais didn't start to appeal to me until last week.

It's funny, I used to dislike Panerai. Now I LOVE my Luminor. I actually cannot think of being without one in my collection...strange. I think that I would actually get rid of my SubC before my PAM104.
