Dievas Flieger Vintage, kind of cool

Post by toxicavenger » Sat Aug 16, 2014 11:58 am

Anyone seen these yet? I think it looks pretty cool. I just wish the lume on the hands matched the dial though.

Dievas Flieger Vintage, kind of cool

A bit small at 39mm but it looks pretty cool. Reminds me of the IWC Mk. XV

That looks damn near perfect. I'd love it to be 41-42mm but it may be perfect at 39mm.

I like the looks of it, but for the money you could have the Tourby Pilot, which appears nicer to me. The version with 200m water resistance has a screw-down diamond crown.

I love Tourby. I didn't know Dievas was a similar price point.

I wish I could get behind Dievas, but had bad experiences in the past. A non-wis buddy had his aquatimer flood. The watchmaker couldn't get the back off because the "hex bolts" on the back didn't match with any instruments he had.

I like it. Just a bit pricey.

Not bad at all....

Good size and like the look of the dial.

I'm all set on the Pilot front with my Steinhart, but like this one quite a bit.

I like a pilot watch. The dial resembles my Stowa and the case resembles my Damasko. I dig it!

WR100? Too dangerous nowadays.

40 years ago you could scubadive with WR150s.

Today you cant be safe even snorkeling with a WR100.

If you are snorkeling with a Pilot watch, you deserve for it to flood.

With a real WR100, call it a pilot or a cook watch, you should snorkel wthout fear.

Hadn't seen these Terry. Look really sharp though ! :headbang:

Has that pilot's watch look we all love, but looks like the finish is more
modernized, and refined. Something old + something new =  !
Very cool sir. VERY cool ! Dievas did a nice job with these it looks like.
Thanks again for the heads up !

I like it - one of the better piss lume watches. The crown guard, however, really sucks. I own and enjoy the IWC Mark XV.

^^I agree John and the Speedbird is a cool ass watch for the price, my only issue with it was how thin the hands were. Other than that it was sweet oh hell.
