i found it *easier* to deal with some bracelets (my aqua terra, for example), but still a bitch with the less expensive version of that tool.

Try your new knife. Just jam 'er in there real-good and pop the spring bar out. It it won't go, you're not givin' 'er hard 'nuff.

Seriously, I have issues with my BCA when I change straps. I now use a very small very thin screw driver from my 'watch toolkit' to move the spring bar.

I am not an expert but it appears you have to take the tool out of the box first.

Might make it a bit easier it you separate the bracelet from the clasp. I have the Bergeon and most of the time it works well, but other times can be a PITA.

I like Stewart's idea; tape it up while your tipping back a couple and give it another go.

PS - Reading the title I thought this was going to include something about a penal implant?

I'm going to have to go with a solid :1: right down the line.

Separating the bracelet into two parts was the only way I could get my Black Bay bracelet back on the watch.

Eric, I don't know if this is helpful or not, but...
Evidently, the S500 has different spring bars for the OEM rubber and for the bracelet, per Emma from Bremont. Once you get the bracelet off, I'd email Emma and make sure you get a bracelet-specific pair.

Sounds like a tough time Eric, but look at it like this: at least
you've got one awesome looking tool now ! :excited:

Seriously though, that looks cool ! :) I hope it helps you out
with the Bremont.

I never give up when faced with breaking my tip...

Maybe I am just more determined. Wife loves it.
