Is there a particular reason for the "Arctic" name? I don't see anything particular about the watch that indicates special cold weather operation prowess.

Would have made more sense to call it Baltic

I like the lumed ceramic bezel. IMO it should be standard on every diver

1. Get drilled through lugs they are just more practical.
2. Make the hour markers and hands a little thicker, right now they are thinner then the numbers on the bezel and I think it would look best the other way around since the watch is primarily time telling device. This also will allow more lume paint and then more lume
3. If you change the hands get different shape
4. if the crystal is domed it might be a nice touch
Carlo is right on with this. I also think that the markers/hands need to be beefed up a bit to match the rest of the watch, but don't overdo it. This also got me thinking that I'd seen something a bit like it before, though I think yours is heading in a better direction.

Looks great. Make sure the lugs are drilled ;)

If this has a 9015 motor I'm in.

Would still wish for a shorter (or different) hour hand.

New crown strikes me as a bit strange (knurled crown with Sub case). If you're going to go for a Sub-a-like case look, then I'd say go whole hog.

I believe it will have a Seiko NH35 Auto. Not sure I'm digging the crown. The original design had a better looking crown IMO.

I don't like the crown. Treudd reminds me of turd. The blue accents are a nice touch.

Why not just call it "one" or use the number 1. Next watch from your new company would be "two", etc. seems simple and different....

Because if Mk II is any indication 4 will come out before 2.

Without checking I bet that's a year, not a series number.

I decided to use a name more suited to the Karlskrona name. "The Arctic" really wasn't as relevant as I wanted the name to be.
"Treudd" is Swedish for "Trident".

I am still considering the crown style.

I like Treudd. No idea what it means, but it sounds nice and looks good on the watch.

they used the IWC AT2000 for some inspiration on that one..and then destroyed it.

It's short for True Dat.

The hands on a dive watch should always be bigger than fashion might dictate. Its hard to read down there, and fat hands are a good thing. With lots of lume slabbed on them.

I am working on drawings using a wider hand set, similar style though. I should have these ready within a day.

Thin bezels on dive watches seem to be growing in popularity now. Incorporarating one in your design may put you ahead of the curve.

Thank you. I really like the look and functionality of the pronounced bezel with lumed numbers for this one though.
I do think a thin bezel would suit a vintage style diver though.

I am considering using a Sellita SW200 movement in the Treudd. I would appreciate input and opinions on this movement vs. the Seiko NH35.

Thank you! :)

I've owned a couple of SW200 watches, and they were as reliable as the 2824. I'd recommend getting the highest grade they offer.
