It's vintage, don't buy it.
"30ish years of martial arts and I've actually had the honor of training lots of LEO, spec ops and even SEAL team 6 on base, fitness training, not martial arts, but still the coolest thing I've done.

Full on egg head corporate job and I fly quite a bit so I'm really looking forward to adding to my collection of TSA friendly self defense tools. I have amcouple tactical pens, but I want to up the game and get into some custom stuff. Been watch obsessed for a while but this seems more fun.

Vintage is fine-as long as you know what you're doing (which is why you started this thread I savvy)

Don't be dumb and buy Franken-vintage.

Exactly, Chris. I can't find a lot online about old BP. My concern is exactly that...franken.

seller is a known collector and usually has real-deal goods... didn't you buy a KonTiki from Steve?

can't help you w/ the BP... Brian Dumais (MWR member) is the only vintage BP guy I know...

Looks to be a mid to late 60's Vietnam era. Don't believe this one is a franken. Looks legit! Here's a link to one that was listed a few years ago on MWR.
