Roamer Stingray Chrono...anybody had one?
Going full retard on the vintage since I just bought this

"30ish years of martial arts and I've actually had the honor of training lots of LEO, spec ops and even SEAL team 6 on base, fitness training, not martial arts, but still the coolest thing I've done.
Full on egg head corporate job and I fly quite a bit so I'm really looking forward to adding to my collection of TSA friendly self defense tools. I have amcouple tactical pens, but I want to up the game and get into some custom stuff. Been watch obsessed for a while but this seems more fun.
Thanks for letting me play! "

That Roamer is sick. Been looking at them since I fell in love with pacificchrono's
Always worried about buying vintage watches from unknown sellers and I am never sure on value
Hope you get it.

Brice doesn't know the day of the week. He would flip himself, if he could.

I would be getting it from a very well known dealer. A little pricey, I feel he's always at the top of the range, but he stands behind his stuff, and the pieces I've bought in the past - MK ll Speedy and a PVD LeJour - were both perfect and I wish I still had the LeJour.

Like the Tudor. The Roamer has a 'busy' dial. Not sure about fixing them either if they break. On the plus side if you buy it it's going to stay. Tough to flip without losing your wallet.

The Stingray is one of the coolest vintage chronos around IMO. I've owned the Jet (GMT) version, and found this one at an "antique" shop for $5. - really. Even came with its original hang tag. It wasn't running when I bought it and it's missing the upper chrono pusher. Sent it to Jack at IWW who got it running and relumed the hands. Now it's at Chronometro getting replacement pushers. Apparently the pushers are impossible to find, so custom ones are being fitted.
Nick's right. Buy right because these are tough flips.
Here's a pic before I sent it to Chronometro...
