Vickers Submarine Watch

Do any of you guys know anything about this watch? Vickers Submarine.

Vickers = a measurement for the hardness of metal.

It looks a bit like a sub, and it's named submarine. My guess is that it's a Submariner look a like. But I'm not certain at all....

Actually, VICKERS was the manufacturer of Spitfire airplane in WW2 afaik. :thumbsup:
VICKERS SUPERMARINE SPITFIRE was the full name.
This one is perhaps a category of comparison to JUNKERS watches..

I would buy it just because of the name. Me likey. :thumbsup:

Nice, I just started watching Band of Brothers in Blu Ray from Netflix. Never saw it originally. I have heard of Vickers before, but in terms of machine guns on History channel. I didn't know they made the Spitfire.

found this at WUS, seems to be a brand new company with just a few models!
Dated 3/28/10

Its a new brand I'll be launching in a month or so, Mike's is just one of 2 individual watches that are actually in the wild at present...
I enjoy vintage/military watches but find them too small for modern wear, so decided to produce a few of my favourite designs in 42/43mm sizing. First 2, the one you see and its arabic sister are inspired by British pocket/trench watches of the WW1 era. Next are 2 from WW2 era, a black dialed field watch based the WWW watches and a white pilot based on the 6B/159 RAF, following these, a black dialed RAF type from the 50's and a Mil-sub

looks like a Debaufre/Steinhart case and bracelet with different dial, hands, and bezel insert.
