Since this diver was released, Orient introduced hacking and handwinding into their mid-tier models. I have thought that this diver should be re-released with this new movement and I think it would offer some serious competition to similar priced offerings from Switzerland.
QC issues are one thing for the high volume entry level models, but there is no excuse for what you received. If this is to be Orient's flagship diver, it should be treated as such. Many customers will only give you one chance. Fortunately most of the forum crowd is forgiving as long as they eventually are taken care of, but the same can't be said for others.
Always liked this and the black dialed version. 
so we'll see how this turns out. Right now OrientUSA customer service is failing big time. I'll keep everyone updated.
