Why would that matter? At least three WUS mods have RR access, one of whom can be trusted.
That dear sir, is the definition of an oxymoron.

I'm not sure what the multiple violations are, but because Carbon(he was gravity on here) posted at work sometimes, we had an IP that matched. He was banned almost a year ago. Looks like Ernie and his minions were digging for a while trying to permanently ban me. Dicks.

I haven't re-registered since my permaban. I'm over that forum. Sheeple members and Nazi mods hold no appeal for me.

That is so problematic. I was IP banned from a forum (probably rightly) and in the process about 10,000 other computers now can't access that site.

For some reason it is reassuring that I got under Ernie's skin bad enough for him to personally pull the trigger.

Cool! Awesome poll you've got going on over there right now about which new Doxa you should buy. Seems really worthwhile! :raised:

And that there's the kind of satisfaction a permaban from that worthless site merits. Honestly, 6 months from now, you will not care one bit. I have an alias there still (f**k you Ernie!) and never even use it. No point. I just don't care anymore.

I'm me here there and everywhere, every time I post something to an aqua dive thread I expect a ban because so many mods get all emotional, even if I don't really say anything, weird.

Some of you guys go out of your way to try to get banned, and/or get overly excited about it after the fact.

I do not have a problem with WUS personally, I go there sometimes for entertainment, sometimes for sales areas.

However, I think a lot of the members and some of the moderators take it too seriously sometimes.

It seemed out of the blue. I posted a picture of my Tuna, commented on a GS, and posted a FS thread last night. I was trying to play nice, but I know I have two incidents in the whole 6 years I've been on there. The first one was years ago.

Definitely. I've never been banned, but I did receive my first 'infraction' last week for removing the asking price from a sales post after the watch sold. Just replaced it with 'SOLD' as I've seen many people do. Innocent enough, but someone reported it to a mod

I believe that's one of their rules over on WUS. It's actually nice to be able to see the asking prices evolve over time - it helps to establish a market price.

That was a big deal back in the day when the WUS brain wizards decided to keep all the prices in place of sales posts so people could use it as a referance when selling. After that I checked out of WUS for good and have been posting at a high level here and the previous version :)

Selling price MUST remain on the FS thread. I was called out on this by a member as a friendly reminder last year. No biggie!

I think it's actually not great, since watches rarely sell for their asking price. Sellers think they can get a certain price, so they hold firm asking $600 for their Seiko Sumo.

Not if you draw it in paint, make it a jpg, and post it using photobucket or similar :shifty:

I agree with this for the most part- but he obviously was banned because Ernie wanted to find a reason to, and he linked him to his friend who used the IP at work.

Totally disagree with WU.
I like the asking prices posted. That way when I'm looking for a new watch that I don't know much about I can see the asking price. Of course deals are done in PM, but it still gives a ballpark figure.
What's their to hide anyway? Especially on here. I like having my low price posted for DWC so hopefully when that person sells they can pass along the good deal.
