i was watching that one as well, looks like in fantastic shape!
I dont understand how it is automatic as i dont see a rotor?
congrats on a true gem! cant wait till the snak see's this.....

The movement incorporates a microrotor that is positioned beneath instead of above the movement. Here's an "exploded" view of the precursor Calibre 11, where you can see the microrotor below. The Calibre 11 was a late 1960s collaborative design coup that used the microrotor automatic from Buren-Hamilton (at bottom).

I just reread this thread and that movement is just interesting.How many other auto-matic movements use the hidden rotor?
