From what I have heard Brice includes a referral with each watch sale completed --- thus the heavy number of new members...

For me, maybe. It was a combination of having enough free time (my wife's out of town) to really get into the forums and the culmination of my growing disillusionment with the more usual spots. This lead to my participation in a WUS thread where 20 dipshits (who know nothing about watches) told me I was a douchebag for understand that a Rolex is, in fact, better than piece of shit Chinese homage. Based on those posts, one of your very kind members extended an invitation to me.

This place is just what the doctor ordered: more TZ-UK than WUS.

Epic indeed. We had a thread going that, encapsulated in one thread, had a similar feel to this forum.

It made the natives uncomfortable and gave the mods headaches. Just left turns and shenanigans that were loosely watch related. When that thread was closed (voluntarily by the OP in a blaze of glory, I might add) there were a bunch of us that felt like Otter in Animal House:

"War's over - Wermer dropped the big one."

i checked out DWC, noticed a couple names and read the membership;

several names popped as experienced collectors i appreciate, they're all

cool so i assumed this would be another good place to grow watch wise.

This's a small well nit group (good) so some may feel invaded, aside from

my shear lack of knowledge and experience i shouldn't be to much trouble.

i'll reserve the really lame queries. i'm an active member on one site, not an

asset just a regular. Not knowing a WIS in person i take advantage online. Feel

used yet appreciated, i get a glimpse into watches i'll only ever see online, and i

loves watches. If i've come at a bad time due to the WUS influx, :puke: good.
