I actually like WUS for some great threads. This one had me going for a while...
I actually learned which way do you turn the crown to wind it!

"It definitely seems like there is a problem with the reserve, but it also appears that there is a problem with the watch itself since this morning the second hand literally stopped moving for a while and I had to reset it, pull out crown, push back in, give a little shake, etc... to get it to work again"

you have to give some credit to the poster Wisconsin Proud.

He was more patient than I would have been. My head would have exploded.

No thanks, I'm trying to cut down

That's up there with the:
"Help! My date changes over at noon instead of midnight!"
I remember telling someone that was because they had a Eastern Hemisphere model instead of a Western Hemisphere one.
I also remember a guy insisting his dress Seiko crown was not screwing down. Unfortunately it was never supposed to screw down. Poor guy was just mashing it down trying to get the non-existent threads to catch.

Is this a cultural thing? Most Americans that I know are raised knowing how to screw things. Maybe he's not from around here.
Rightly tighty, lefty loosey. Clockwise. You get the drift, and farewell to common sense!

Agree 100%.... kind of feel sorry for the guy. Thing is he actually wrote "garbage" describing his 3000 dollar watch that he was 'winding' backwards...

Doesn't get much better than that..

This is precisely why the Planet Ocean has been getting a bad reputation over the past few months. All these newbs decide it would be cool to buy one, and then when they get it home they don't know how to work it . So they go bitch and complain on the forums about how their new watch is a piece of sh!t and doesn't work, when in reality, there's nothing wrong with their watch. Very irritating sometimes.

It amazes me that someone would fork over 3k+ for a watch (or anything) and have no clue about what it is or how it works.
