Anybody use The Shoemart?

Just curious. I may grab a pair of Aldens there as they seem to have wide sizes in stock. Thing is I've read a lot of bad reviews about them online. Anybody shop there? Good place to buy Aldens? Just plain indy 405s or 403s. I've bought at JCrew-top notch and Alden of Carmel-top notch but need a good indy source.

My 405's came from NRO at 30% off, otherwise they would have come from Shoemart.

Leaning std indys and thinking with obenaufs it will darken them up a bit and look good-the 405s might be on the dark side. I like the commando soles on my AF53s and I like the leather soles on my JCrew aldens but I think I'll like the neocork the best based off of my rangers.

I'm an Alden newb so I've never heard of the roys before.

Here's some info on Alden Roy's http://www.contextclothing.com/item.php?id=1524, not a standard model, so always a pre-order thing. Chris, go with the 405, you'll love the color of the chromexcel.

I've bought several shoes from them. Never had a problem. If you're worried about an online sale, give them a call and talk with Ed Zapatka. Very good guy.

405 or 403, either way you're gonna love the leather and build quality.
