Nice pickup and I'll bet you're glad to finally have it on your wrist.

Thanks. It was great to finally walk in wearing a blue shirt and no watch, and to walk out with the problem corrected.
David, I was down in your neck of the woods a couple of months ago. I couldn't manage to get my tablet on the internet to pm you as I intended. Next year I should be able to correct that when we do it again.

Nice Grab on the Omega. You really gotta start eating right and get in the gym though.

I spent most of my life as a gym rat. I competed a couple of years in the late '90's. Five years ago I hurt my arm, and stopped working out. Last December I decided that I had gotten fat and needed to get back into the gym and go on a diet. It took about four months of being very strict on both to lose 40 pounds. I am now in maintenance mode which allows me to eat anything I want on weekends, including a few beers as long as I did well throughout the work week. My workouts are 5 days a week of 1 1/2 hours of weights and 1/2 hour of treadmill. It is good to be back. The 2220.80 was meant to be a 45th birthday present from me to me. I ended up accidentally paying for it a few months early as my birthday is not until late September.
Last year at a car show for comparison.
Two weeks ago at a car show. Dressed the same, even wearing the same watch ('61 Omega Seamaster DeVille).
Showing off a lot of hard work.

The clown has been a matter of discussion in my house for a long time. It was my grandmothers. I grew up under the clown (which probably explains a lot). If the clown is hanging on the wall, I must be home.
My ex wife has a couple of friends that would not come into my house because of the clown hanging in the living room. We tried explaining to them that we had tried to get rid of it but it kept coming back...angry.

Why do I suddenly feel the urge to a) own a Bond Seamaster, and b) go lift for the rest of the day?

Good stuff!
You're definitely testament to patience and hard work, both physically and with the payments on the Bond. Quite refreshing!

I have my doubts about the "watch" part.

Definite change there, Jordan. I've recently decided I had enough of being a fat ass, unlike where I was several years ago. I made the mental commitment and brought it to fruition and have had my ass in the gym for the last 5 weeks. Lost a few pounds but more importantly I've noticed a physical change as well. (Don't worry Wu, I'll make sure I get some nice man tit shots for ya

). Seriously though, Wu is right about the patience on that watch.

You give respect, you'll get respect - you just don't know your place.

No spray tan, just a convertible Jeep.
No body shaving, I am not hairy enough to need it.
I am straight, sorry to disappoint.

Thanks. It was hard for the last six months not to just pay for it, but that is the deal I made with myself.
Keep up the good work as well. It is amazing how fast it comes back. If you need any advice on working out or dieting I used to be a personal trainer many years ago, just ask.

Nice, uhhh... watch.
But seriously, congrats on getting the Bond. A modern classic for sure.
Wish I had your commitment and dedication. (Both on the watch, and fitness regimes.)
