Used to have

Post by mattcantwin » Sat Feb 27, 2010 3:06 am

I am pretty new to all this, but was thinking about how many watches I used to have and no longer own.

They have either been sold, traded, given away or, as in the case of my dearly departed yellow dial Oceanaire, passed on.

I would be interested to hear some numbers from the real movers here, but I did a rough count,

and for me, it is 36 watches.

I don't think Paul can count that high.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

I have absolutely no idea. I do remember one though.

WOW! Maybe not as many nice ones as Glen, but at least 75-85 over the last 5-6 years of being on these stupid forums, of which I can truly say I wish I hadn't traded/sold at least 25 of the "nicer" ones. :crybaby:

I nver intended to be, and don't consider myself a "flipper". But, if you hang on these forums long enough you get caught up in it.

Much more than that, Matt! It was like a lifetime of watch porn wet dreams had flashed before my eyes!

Glen, you're my watch hero...but, when I think of some of those amazing watches that you let go, I...can't...stop... :crybaby: ...and...I'm sorry, but I sorta feel like doing this to you... :smack:

Wasn't that just Glen's 2009 list? I remember seeing a 2008 version also on WUS.

Actually 2 Beaters too:
