I need to date a vintage Omega

Post by andya » Mon Dec 12, 2011 12:52 pm

Hi

Does anyone have a link to any site that I could date an old Omega on? I just need to know what year one is and also how do I know it has the correct bracelet on it is there anywhere I can check this?

Many Thanks

Andy

Read the top - http://www.ofrei.com/page_146.html

Then go here - http://www.ofrei.com/page748.html

or here - http://www.ofrei.com/page1280.html

Hint - Do a "Alt F" to use the find function when you are on the bracelet page. It will look for the case number and look in the bracelet text. This may help speed up the search without having to read every single description.

Nice...can't wait to see it either. BTW, ref. 1162/172 is the original bracelet for that model (at least that's what came on mine). Good catch!

Mark I love that 910

Thanks for the comments on good catch but I haven't got it yet and the guy who said I had first option on it just isn't answering my mails! It makes me wonder of he has sold it to someone else after all, I just sent him another mail so I may hear from him tomorrow as it is half past midnight here now, I take it you chaps are a good few hours behind there :) So I may not be a flighty owner after all :(
