"I got it as a gift" is code for I wear it and am in denial to its providence. Who are all these "gift givers" buying these fakes?

The painted Omega logos have upturned feet like that. The applied shouldn't. (This at least applies for the SMPs. I can't speak for ALL Omega models).

Correct-only the applied logos (Metal) and I've only seen it on POs have happy feet-which is curled up ends -yours is painted like mine and the painted ones have happy feet.

I used to have a hard time spotting them-specifically POs. Now the first thing I look at is the bezel pip. Jae was right on the money on that one. I passed it by at first glance.

The Omega logo on the dial of a Planet Ocean.
Happy feet (Oscar Gaspar's Chanet Ocean of 3T fame for instance):

Think that was my Glycine...sold it to owner of watch freeks and I'm sure Raiderfan is a member! Sucks about the PO but it's not even close to the real deal! you would think someone taking a close up like that pic must have thought it was real or thought the stories at other forums are true about us!

They tell stories about us on other forums? Awesome.

I know Mike from a long time ago at a few other watch forums. I'm sure he had no idea about the PO. Too bad...

I haven't been on another forum other than the sales forum at WUS or a quick look at Breitlings Source or TRF! Few years ago when this place had a different name there was a lot of talk but we were still the bad boys of the watch world..... We've seemed to grow up a bit while keeping that edge that makes us what we are...

This is a good one for our new "fake awareness" forum.

Trev, looked at that Glycine, and I think you were right, that it was yours and you sold it to James and he sold it off, and I do think Raidefan is the one who bought it. I remember it because James bought the bracelet for it, and sent it to me to brush out all the polished parts. LOL
