Funny, I just picked mine up today... I guess great minds really do think alike, huh? ;)

Seriously though, while I'm not a huge fan of this particular module, I'll be damned if the "Krink" treatment doesn't work brilliantly on the 6900.

I love it.

Regards,
Adam

PS - Here's a shot taken by "Maine" over on WUSsy that shows the mirrored face and display to great effect:

Congrats guys, looks great.

I've been really holding back on G's lately, and this one is really cool.

This will definitely put me over the edge and get one.

cheers.

The one to the right is the GA-110 Dee & Ricky. Rumor has it that there may be another one coming next year.

Until then, I have another G-Shock on order but stuck in Japan because of the holidays over there.

Yup, that's the word on the street, though my source down at the G-Shock counter says that it could come even sooner (and yes, he's going to be holding a bunch for me ;) )

In the meantime, I'm still enjoying the unofficial watch of the DWC:

"Krink" is a NYC-based company that markets art supplies to graffitti artists. The founder, "KR" developed his own ink (get it "KR's ink") that would hold better on surfaces and not dry out, and now he's gone all corporate and shit. His signature is a silver drip pattern, and if you've spent any time in NYC or SF, you'd probably recognize it if you saw it.

Great pick-up, Luke Congrats.

After borronwing Giovanni's "stormtrooper" a couplke of times, I have been eyeing these on the bay and found a street wear store in Boston that has them less than anybody else but haven;t pulled the trigger yet.

So another D&R? I can't wait to see it.

Awesome, he specializes in helping criminals deface public property! Who isn't more deserving of a LE G Shock?

Graffiti is legit. They are the new rockstars in the art world. Spawning from the likes of Banksy et all. Cool stuff.
Museums house graffiti pieces and auctions sell for incredible amounts.

Dave, you obviously live in a place where shit heads don't deface every surface with their egotistical nonsense. Cool watch otherwise, it is a shame about the company it glorifies.

I hear ya, and I do agree with the crap out there.

There a really talented artists who have a vision and make art that is pleasant to see and make sense to the environment.

Then there's the shmucks out there who can't draw/paint/spell that deface and fugly up a beautiful space.
These guys who can't spell need to be slapped and sent back to school. :smack:

In Montreal and I've seen over in London, there are dedicated spots for graffiti artists to go nuts.

I understand the frustration and eyesore these bandits cause.
I had to clean by hand and scrub the side of one of my past properties from stupid kids who couldn't spell or draw. :cussing:

Give them a space and medium, it can be a good thing. IMHO.

Don't worry Chris, Krink went legit years ago -- he started doing designated spots and galleries long before he founded the company.
