Ploprof 1200 in action (u/w video clip)
Here's a short clip showing how the Ploprof 1200 works and looks underwater. I filmed this using a hi-def camera integrated into a scuba mask, allowing hands-free filming.
Full length video here:
Ploprof visible at 1:08 in the video.

Hmm, could have been anybody's hand.
Could you show today's newspaper in the next shot?

Sweet!
I think I know the mask that you mentioned. How deep is that thing rated?

Sure thing... I'll have one of my para-rescue buddies snap a shot of me holding today's paper in front of my Nismo.aikiman44 wrote:Hmm, could have been anybody's hand.![]()

Here's me wearing said mask... though the photo is from November's Cozumel trip. It's rated to 115 feet. I took it to 107. It shoots nice video but it's finicky to use, since it's attached to your head and with no viewfinder, aiming is a problem, as is shakiness.snoballz wrote:Sweet!

I may try something like that with one of my watches...
in the tub.
I should be able to hold my breath that long, but not sure how to tape the camera to my forehead.
