I actually got to handle a beautiful vintage SM300 -- not a Watchco -- tonight at Red Bar, courtesy of Steve ("sfglenrock" on TZ, whom I hope will soon become a DWCer), and I can tell you that what I'm looking at here is sacrilege, plain and simple.

Hanging's too good for 'em.

My wife was searching ebay for Omega watches the other night (there was 12 in my watch list!) and I told her to look for an SM300, as in my opinion, it is one of the finest looking dive watches EVER! Thank god she never saw this abortion.

I can't believe that thing sold for $985!! :shock:

It needs at the very least:
-service/cleaning/polish
-new gaskets
-correct hands
-new bezel/insert
-new crown
-new crystal
-new case back
-correct or replacement bracelet

I can't believe what they did to the bezel ring and then put the wrong hour and minute hand on it.And then it sold for that crazy price.Dam watch was only good for parts.
