Monceau returns with the Model 1

Post by AtomicTom » Thu May 29, 2025 5:13 pm

Did you guys here about the return of the Swiss watch
company Monceau? Or see their new Model 1 which is
in the works?

The Model 1 is set to have specifications like a 39mm stainless
steel case, nice gray, or grey, black, white, and red textured
dials, integrated bracelets, Sellita SW210-1, and much more.

Very attractive design. Integrated bracelet watches have really made a comeback over the last few years.

It’s not an integrated bracelet - but, the end-links make it look like it is.

Sharp watch. The red one is cool.

It’s integrated in the sense that you can’t just put any standard-sized strap on this watch, you’d have to have something custom made to fit those lugs.

I also like the red one.

EDIT: Oh, I see it now. Had to go to their website to see this photo:

Some of those other images are very misleading, showing almost zero gap or seam around the lugs/end links. This image is underwhelming, hopefully it’s of a prototype.
