Thanks Shannon. I like this strap better than any canvas I’ve owned. Fit is exceptional.

Started the day with the Damasko

And switched to the CWC this afternoon for. A daddy-daughter date at the range.

Bit the bullet and cut the "fixed" bars out (they aren't really fixed; still regular lug holes). So glad I did. Regular 22mm/1.8 bars work great and the OEM quick release strap/bracelet still attach the same, securely. The strap world is now my oyster with this one.

Damn, that's hot! Almost picked one of these up this Summer, didn't realize you could convert to regular spring bars. Dibs!

Whoa!!! That’s awesome! I hate to say it, but I wish I could do that to my CWC and fit a bracelet.

Thanks guys. After searching extensively, I found exactly one person who showed he cut out the bars and that there were usable lug holes after doing so. I figured the worse case was a service if I failed, but after seeing pictures I thought it would be fine. This is pretty much my only 22mm watch and I have a ton of 22mm straps, so had to go for it.

Dibs noted, though I don't think this one will be going anywhere anytime soon.
