Their marketing copy is definitely written for stock brokers vs Doxa’s traditional clientele lol

The SUB 200T offers two dial options: the Iconic and the Sunray. The Iconic dial is a masterpiece of subtlety and sophistication, designed for those who find elegance in simplicity. Its anti-reflective finish ensures readability in any light, making it a perfect companion for both outdoor adventurers and the boardroom. On the other hand, the Sunray dial captures the imagination with its dynamic interplay of light, offering a vibrant spectacle that changes with every turn of the wrist. It’s a dial that doesn’t just tell time; it tells a story.

I'm sure they will wear great, just curious how small the dial is

The generic movement description points to that as well...

This is not for me. The face on my 300T Pro already wears small.

I agree. As someone with fairly slim wrists, I think the 300T wears fine. It is a diving watch. If I wanted to wear a dress watch, I would.

I find it more interesting that Doxa chose to expand their model line-up "downmarket", adding a model between the Sub 200 and the Sub 300T.

I suspect this model was a request from their AD network who probably sell the Sub 200 model fairly well, but don't sell nearly as many 300T's, etc. (as evidenced by the availability of 300T's, 300's, 1500,s, etc. on Joma, but the scarcity of 200's).

My guess is the general public will drop $1K on a fun colored watch with a decent mechanical movement, but not much over that. People who value the diving history of Doxa will pay for more upscale models, but we are the minority of the watch buying public.

It's funny I was looking at the specs for other Doxas and remembering how tiny the dial is already on the sub 300. That dial is gonna be teeny tiny 🤏

Positively dainty. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Is it the domed crystal that makes the sub 300 dial look so small? I am sure it will fit like a 36mm watch but the dial proportions may be more pleasing to the eye. I can see the searambler dial looking larger in this model than other dial colors, especially the black dial.

After some consideration, I guess I get it. The 300T fits me just fine, but it is indeed a chonk, and it should be. If someone wanted the same vibes, but with a little less bulk, I guess that's OK...

The dial is larger than the 300 and only .5 mm smaller than the 300T if the internet is to be believed.

The dial isn’t the most noticeable difference - the thinness is most obvious and the case is 8% smaller if my math is right going from 42.5 to 39.

As discussed in my other post I have 34 up to 42 so this right in between and wears great

Definitely 2mm larger than my 37 Tissot and not quite to the 40 of my vintage 16750.

Very readable and comfortable for my 57 yr old eyes and wrists 😎
