You know what I think it is guys?!

Is they are trying to give it a rugged rustic lived in look with that lume, and then
the compass bezel adds a level of genuine toolness I guess. I mean I don't even know
how to use a compass bezel, but it's neat to see I think. Plus it adds a nice unique
element to the look imho. Overall I have to say I like it too.

Although I wish the prices were vintage like the lume style.

At this point I almost just consider it another color rather than a faux patina. But I would rather have a more standard colorway.

I don't think it's as apparent on the black or blue dial. I'd still rather have whiter lume, but the white dial looks like a bag of smashed buttholes with the faux old lume.
