I don't get the hype on these FXDs..

Just put a nato on an OG Pelagos. Plus you get the option of wearing it on a bracelet. Plus its a bunch cheaper. Plus it looks better.

While I don’t plan or want to sell everything else, I could see a perfect trio with this FXD, Sub 41, and U50P.

One AD I spoke to this morning has no idea, but I am “on the list”. The other said he did not have any at launch, but they were told to expect them close to launch date.

I suspect the first AD I spoke with, is probably waiting to see if any of his big money clients want one before me, cause I’m a little guy.

I think the AD’s should lease or rent watches. I’m sure we have talked about this before but I think that would work. Just when I start to feel content with my collection something new comes out and it’s back to figuring out how and when to get it.

Mark

Thanks I’ll probably wait for quite a while till I see them on Recon for a little less hopefully. I need to hold off and save for a while 🙄

Still love my blue FXD, that's going nowhere anytime soon. I could easily see adding this one somewhere down the road though.

I’m kinda with you on that. It doesn’t do anything for me that a Pelagos 39, or the regular Pelagos, wouldn’t do. I’m not dazzled by the historical connection because I have no claim or connection to it. Now, if somebody reputable came up with a useful watch that honored the Submarine Service, I’d be interested. HY-80 steel, good lume, 396 meter WR, shatter proof crystal.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

Do Tudor’s, like Rolex get sold over MSRP for a time? I got my Ranger 79950 about 6 months after the launch last year and got it for quite a few $$ below MSRP.
