Yes. My last one was but I wanted the M1 Pro chip and they didn’t have any. I use it to build an app that controls my Type 1 Diabetes by making 2 medical devices that don’t communicate with each other to work together with a DIY app and control my blood sugar. The old 2017 MacBook works take 45-60 minutes to compile the program - longer if I run into an error. The new M1 Pro does it in just a few minutes.
