Best?
What is the best rubber dive strap going right now? I want to get a straight ended (at lugs) rubber strap for my newer Supermarine and I’m not liking how stiff the Pure that I bought for it is.
I love me some IsoFrane, but I’m looking for something a bit more refined. I’m looking for the same feel/suppleness

Not rubber, but Micah's Shark is very comfortable and he can make it thin at the lug end to fit the Bremont.

I just got that one. The curved end create too much of a gap, unfortunatelyjimyritz wrote:What about temple island from Bremont? Also the the Monta rubber strap looks good.

Believe it or not, I’m not a fan of the vintage tropic straps. I’ve received a bunch on my vintage divers over the years and they always find their way to the ziplock bag.djh1201 wrote:IMO the Vintage Tropic straps like these (if you can find them). I haven't tried these new ones, but expect they are similar (Etsy seller).

I have been using the Barton elite silicone rubber straps lately and like them.
Panerai accordion rubber straps are also awesome.

same. but i think mark needs a 22mm version. i wish scurfa made those in that size. it is such a great classic style/fit without being over powering.

Pure is nice, got to try on Chris's before buying one; great option.
Re: Best?
The new 22mm Tropic would get my vote. Close second would be the Hirsch Accent or the Hirsch Robby. I can't stand the cheap-feeling silicone stuff you get from Barton, and I feel like Bonetto hasn't made anything interesting as of late.

Tropic strap by the same manufacturer as Isofrane. I think it has a nice vintage vibe along with being supple and high quality. I think it meets the mark when looking for something a little more sophisticated than the Iso.

Same! Can’t stand that dusty look

Okay, got the first two in…
Both are Zulu diver straps from watchgecko and super soft.
The first is interesting, because it curves in at the lug ends. It reminds me of a Pure, but a little softer.
The second is a waffle style strap, which I saw a similar styled strap on a Supermarine GMT and I liked the texture.

Many good recommendations here. I can recommend the Artem sailcloth strap, a bit on the pricier side but excellent quality and breaks in really quickly.
The tropic strap by Wolbrook is excellent as well, pairs with Baltic in terms of quality and comfort.
