Anyone have an AD recommendation? (in case I really want whatever they release, I like to be prepared) My local place kept passing me over for the BB58, so if this is a popular watch, I don't have high hopes of being able to buy locally. I thought Timeless was a Tudor AD, but they no longer list Tudor on their site.
I bought one from Timeless, but it was like 2 years ago.
I bought my first BB from them, but when I checked this morning they no longer list Tudor.

Call my AD and tell them I sent you in case it helps Image I’m there all the time and the owner knows me well.

Tudor site crashed, here's the youtube link.

Toupe is the new black.

The Black Bay Chrono looks hot. The Daytona has never done much for me, but this I'd consider.

Thanks for sharing-- like what Tudor is doing... I'd take the Chrono with the black dial but need to see the Silver with the taupe in person...

41mm Chronos

Plus some silver and gold BB58
They have literally raped BB line to death
Although I think I’m in for the Panda

Green dial BB58 in brushed 18k yellow gold looks really good.

Panda is really nice. I do with they downsized or otherwise updated the Pelagos, though.

Didn't they already have a BB chrono? They're nice, but not something that's going to make me hunt one down. Maybe in the 58 case, but I always found the 41mm case cumbersome. Hard pass on the gold BB58. Money saved.

Edit:

Just saw on IG there's another BB58 with a 925 silver case and taupe dial/bezel. Kind of interesting.

Sexy but need to see it in the metal. I bet the lug holes are in the wrong place again

The taupe dial 58 is a sterling silver case.

Nothing from Tudor or Rolex that moves me at all this year.

Watched the video, kinda wanted to throat punch the guy talking. Nothing that grabbed my attention at all.

Kinda like the chronos and the taupe BB58 looks (not the silver case though), but not enough to think about perusing. I would be interested in handling one of the chronos, just to see how it feels.

"Chic"....."Taupe"... "Gold", (which looks like brass when it is brushed)..... Is Tudor heading toward fashion watches?

I do really like the Chrono, that looks good. But the non-rotating bezel is going to kill it for me. I wish they put a rotating dive bezel on it and put the tach on the inner chapter ring.

Some of these are real shit. A gold tudor for almost $20,000? Yeah, NO.

Not really feeling Tudor or Rolex this year for the most part. Use of silver for a case is different - I assume they have to treat it in some way to keep it from tarnishing. But the design isn't particularly inspiring to me. The all gold BB with the green dial and bezel is kind of cool, but not really my thing (and I couldn't afford it either).

The return to 36mm for the Explorer is interesting, as is the two tone version with the gold accents on the dial. But I won't be rushing out to buy either of them. The "new" Explorer II isn't new at all beyond the movement, so people who like the current design should be happy, but I wouldn't trade my five digit Exp II for one. The new datejust dials leave me flat.

Compared to Grand Seiko dial textures they're a joke.

I thought for sure Jacob would be all over the new 36 explorer.

I bet it wears closer to 37-38 like the five digit one.

It’s definitely more appealing than the 39mm and I’d like a new modern Rolex. However, I’m about a million miles from the nearest AD who I’ve never even talked to. So if this watch is the least bit popular I probably won’t be “allowed” to buy one.

A BB58 at half the price seems slightly more compelling.

They seem to be geared more toward women than men. Rolex categorizes its 36mm watches as unisex. But, at least from the pics, I still don't think they look very good when compared to GS or even some of the Omega textured dials.

Silver B58 is interesting. Wonder how it’ll hold up being softer. Will it darken like silver jewelry?

Doing more reading, there are some additional changes to the Exp II. The hands on the black dial are now fully SS instead of partially blacked out. The hands and markers on the white dial are matte black instead of gloss. Case shape does look a bit slimmer and the dial looks a little smaller, but that's hard to tell w/o a side by side.

Interesting observation that the dial might be smaller. I would have called BS on it, but the Explorer 2 now shares a movement with the GMT2 so it might share a dial size. The lugs look slimmed down for sure.

Nothing that exciting, and if I wanted a new chrono, I would wait for the Zenith to drop in price a year or so from now.
