SLA051

The new hand set ruins it

At least the SLA033 was more faithful to the 6105-811x

I'm glad the new one is available on rubber with the black bezel. Now I just need to come to terms with the price increase and get another Tuna.dnslater wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 4:24 amLooks the same to me. The bracelets are my only issues with the newest 300M Tuna line. The SBBN015 Tuna had one of the best bracelets that Seiko has put on a dive watch. Regardless, Tuna's are great strap/NATO watches.
Yep. Really digging that one too.Jeep99dad wrote:I want this one
Nice size but I'm not sure what's more ridiculous: the stupid maxipad strap or the price.JBZ wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 5:39 amMore info on the new 1959 Alpinists set to come out later this year (one LE, already pictured above, and three regular). The pricing on the LE is...aggressive. But I'm sure it will sell.

At least it looks like they designed the strap so you can lose the bund feature pretty easily and just wear it on the leather strap without it. I don't know enough about Seiko movements to say whether and how a 6L35 is better than a 6R35 (but the 6R35 has a longer power reserve). I do like the look of the watch itself, and I get that it's a LE, but the price is too high for me. But I'm sure there are enough Alpinist fanatics out there who will pay.JP Chestnut wrote: ↑Fri Feb 26, 2021 7:09 amNice size but I'm not sure what's more ridiculous: the stupid maxipad strap or the price.JBZ wrote: ↑Thu Feb 25, 2021 5:39 amMore info on the new 1959 Alpinists set to come out later this year (one LE, already pictured above, and three regular). Ya... feels like there’s no “direction” just a bunch of randomness.andrema wrote:It just keeps on getting worse
