And I left with the green Willard

These all look fantastic. Congrats on the Willard!
Thanks
Congrat on the Willard Brice, and thanks for the pictures of the 187 and the blue Willard. Think I'm liking the 185 more now (SPB143 still on the race) as I want to wear either of those watches on natos. The 187 does look great for bracelet duty.
Thanks buddy.
I’ll say this on the new MM200...
case work is great, the lines, facets, finish... looks nicer and more refined than that of the Willard. I Iove the style but it does wear tall and doesn’t sit as flat vs. the Willard which sat so well on the wrist. The MM200 bracelet was more to my liking with its flatter long beveled links... it also suits the watch style better imo.
The MM200 dial didn’t seem as nice and crisp as the Willard, maybe it’s the crystal. Maybe subjective but looking at dial/date, the Willard seems a step above in quality.
Biggest difference was the bezel, I much prefer the material of the MM200 bezel, more refined and modern, but the operation and feel is just way superior on the Willard which is surprisingly outstanding in this area for an “affordable” seiko. The MM200 bezel felt a bit sloppy, not as firm yet smooth and precise.
I couldn’t decide between the two blue Seikos.
Thanks for the info Brice. The Willard is a watch that I truly dont understand. It is a great watch for the money, and I'm grabbing it more than any other watch I have. The dial is mezmerizing, same as the crystal, just the right amount of height. I like wearing my Seiko Turtle, but the dimensions of the Willard case are great for my wrist.
Regarding the MM200, I did not like how the dial looked. Guess I would prefer something less shiny on a blue dial watch. And if it seats higher than the Willard on the wrist, I might not love it on a nato. Guess I will try the SPB143 first. Thanks again!

Congratulations fellas. I gotta stop looking at threads like this.
Just heard from our local AD that he has the black, green, and blue dial “Willard” available again, in case anyone needs an intro.

Congrats Brice, that Willard is one of my favorite Seiko offerings, perfect combo w/the black strap.
And another perfect combo; thanks to Art.
Very nice Matt!

That’s nice, except the gold seconds hand looks like an afterthought.

I wish the bezels matched the dials on these new MM200's.

This one is an anniversary LE, I believe.

The green dial in these photos feels more Sumo like. Not sure why I feel that way about it, but I think it’ll be excellent at the size it is. I like the gold second hands matching the Diver 200m text. The Sumo is still my favorite Seiko case I’ve owned, even more so than the MM300, but it’s just too large.

So much better than the first Manta.

It looks great. I’m hoping they are available separately.

It’s terrible.
