Sadly no. I have had date/date window issuesCGSshorty wrote:There’s no chapter ring, which is the main alignment issue with Seiko. Quality seems top too
I’m gonna get One I think but from my AD as I want to be sure it’s all aligned.
Blue or black ?

Blue will be mine next year
Re: New Seiko Thread
Thank you all, and glad you like it!
So far I am loving it!
Love the updated handsets
Size is perfect
Alignment is spot-on
I am not a blue dial guy, and the 187's dial is a little too shiny for me, so 185 it is.
Plus all my divers are black bezeled, I guess it's a good time for a change.
@Carlo - Per my caliper, bezel width is 40.09mm, including the case, it's about 42
@Brice - 6.75-7 is the size
I am sure you guys will love it

He has said that for years to cover his ass. Anders at Gnomon will verify for you if I recall.gonzomantis wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 7:56 amI see that now, even on the SBDX039 @ $4600. Perhaps just his disclaimer then.Chocodove wrote: ↑Sat Dec 19, 2020 7:34 amHe has that for pretty much every Seiko, all the way up to the MM300.gonzomantis wrote:I was pretty excited about the SBDC127, and Seiya now has it on his site. Unfortunately, I also saw this in his description.
For a $1200 Seiko, that is just embarrassing. The chapter ring and index & bezel index and face index not being aligned perfectly.
Was it Gnomon where some here were able to have them verify alignment of everything?

I believe that’s what Terry called the charcoal straps. That color was a mistake.

Congrat on the Willard Brice, and thanks for the pictures of the 187 and the blue Willard. Think I'm liking the 185 more now (SPB143 still on the race) as I want to wear either of those watches on natos. The 187 does look great for bracelet duty.

Hot! I think that watch would look great on almost any nato.

I’ll say this on the new MM200...
case work is great, the lines, facets, finish... looks nicer and more refined than that of the Willard. I Iove the style but it does wear tall and doesn’t sit as flat vs. the Willard which sat so well on the wrist. The MM200 bracelet was more to my liking with its flatter long beveled links... it also suits the watch style better imo.
The MM200 dial didn’t seem as nice and crisp as the Willard, maybe it’s the crystal. Maybe subjective but looking at dial/date, the Willard seems a step above in quality.
Biggest difference was the bezel, I much prefer the material of the MM200 bezel, more refined and modern, but the operation and feel is just way superior on the Willard which is surprisingly outstanding in this area for an “affordable” seiko. The MM200 bezel felt a bit sloppy, not as firm yet smooth and precise.
I couldn’t decide between the two blue Seikos.

Re: New Seiko Thread
Congrats Brice, that Willard is one of my favorite Seiko offerings, perfect combo w/the black strap.
Re: New Seiko Thread
