Thats true. The turtles were like that when they first came out.

Non-working proto so no wearablity specifics.
Few observations: 1) It appears to be an aluminum bezel which is what I prefer, and 2) did not know the OD version has brushed hands whereas the black had polished.

Re: New Seiko Thread
The green one on a black Nato will be stellar. Swap on a black bezel for the big win.
I’ll surely break my no-date only rule for this watch.

I'm gonna need that green turtle
Re: New Seiko Thread
I already have the black on order but might get the green once the prices drop or someone here sells one.

I'm definitely getting the green one, and we'll see which one sticks, this one or the green King Turtle. Black one also looks great.

Re: New Seiko Thread
Unlike many of you guys, the green does nothing for me. The black one, though--might have to make that happen.

Re: New Seiko Thread
There are a bunch of really cool GS GMT watches in that thread. Gonna have to look at those later again.
Some interesting pictures... I really need a side profile pic of the Capt Willard watches to see the crystal:

Black dial model is also a winner, although endlinks could be better (this watch wasnt design for a bracelet originally):

This is also interesting, watch is cool and appears to have a really wearable size:

6105 remake crystal looks nicely domed.
Re: New Seiko Thread
The black 6105 on a rubber strap is going to be great.

Not sure if this video was posted already but Peter goes into depth comparing all the versions of the 6105 (original, reissue and recreation). Very interesting.
