Re: New Seiko Thread
I’m really liking the new Turtles.
Waffle dial, sapphire crystal, ceramic insert and that new bezel looks very grippy vs that over polished POS they’re using now.
Though that wart will definitely have to be replaced!

That green

I like the PVD version, though the green dial is pretty cool.

Re: New Seiko Thread
Thinking we probably touched on Seiko's new Prospex Automatic Field
Compass. Kind of remember them back during Baslworld.
Seems like the watches have 43mm stainless steel cases, 200 meter
water resistance, Hardlex crystals, internal compass bezel, black,
and green dials with Lumibrite coated hands, and also markers,
leather straps, and Seiko 4R36 automatic behind an exhibition
case-back also.
A few pictures...

Oh man, sorry J.
Looks like I was putting my post together during the time you put yours up.

Ceramic bezel insert? Where can I get more info? Has the model number for the green one already available?spring-diver wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 4:03 pmI’m really liking the new Turtles.

I'm having bad thoughts... that dial on a black Turdle case would look awesome, but the different bezel and bezel insert might make the conversion difficult (thinking about using the STO black case). Guess I could also have someone "PVD" the case.

Yes! A black case/bezel/crown would be killer
and finish it off with black outline hands plus a orange tipped second hand
Yes! it’s a ceramic insert

Re: New Seiko Thread
I wish Seiko would offer at least one of these in a no-date configuration. That said, this one ^ with a flat sapphire with no AR coating could work....if I needed another watch.spring-diver wrote:I’m really liking the new Turtles.

Oh I never thought about that. Seems like a nice watch for the msrp though.

Re: New Seiko Thread
Not sure if we already touched on these new Seiko Prospex SUMO Chronographs.
The watch will have 44.5mm stainless steel case, 200m R, a sapphire
crystal, blue, and black dials with LumiBrite coated hands, and markers,
Seiko V192 Solar caliber, stainless steel bracelet, or rubber strap, and more.
Have a few pics right below...

Re: New Seiko Thread
If the new Alpinist looks anything like this pic, I'm sold (and, yes, I like the cyclops).
