New brand that just started. I like what they are doing so far. No pre-order and no Kickstarter.
Check them out.

I like it.

Ares > Winfield based on looks alone. Maybe I’m biased.
Re: Winfield Watch Company
I like it. I love C3 lume on a black dial.

Yep. Date ruins this one IMO and I prefer the overall aesthetic of the D1 better. The marketing verbiage is...strangely similar.hoppyjr wrote:Ares > Winfield based on looks alone. Maybe I’m biased.
Edit: Also, that logo makes me think of Glycine for some reason.

Don he said the first run will have a date. He thinking that after that the next version will be dlc and maybe a no date version. Not sure yet since he is funding this all out of his pocket right now.

He should really drop the date or move it if possible. Really ruins the look of another wise nice looking watch.toxicavenger wrote:Don he said the first run will have a date. Re: Winfield Watch Company
Trying to keep my mouth shut. I really am. The date window. Why. Whyyyy ohh whyyyyy. Cockeyed date windows at 4 o'clock puzzle the hell out of me. Completely throws off the balance of an otherwise great looking watch. See it time and time again.
Would be SO much better either w/o it or the date at 6.
One man's opinion.

Hey, those are nice Terry !
Straightforward awesomeness, and just easy on the eyes in a few different
ways to be 100% honest !
Nice, and bold, but still traditional actually.
Love the touch of red on the second hand also ! ..Two
!!
Thanks once again sir !!!

Re: Winfield Watch Company
Darn another one... my head is spinning with all these "companies" sprouting all over the place. It seems I learn of a new watch/brand/model every day... more options but also more variables... need some kind of review and comparison to have an idea of where to place them.
This one is not my favorite design but it is another possible choice.

Re: Winfield Watch Company
I personally LOVE date windows at 4:30. Keeps the dial hour marker symmetry.

Re: Winfield Watch Company
So do I Roger. To boot it is also on a black background. So the chances of me seeing it isn't very high.

To each their own. I will never understand it. Looks so out of place and throws the whole dial balance out of whack for my eyes. 6 o'clock is the perfect spot for a date wheel IMO.

Re: Winfield Watch Company
This. Putting it at 6 (or elsewhere) destroys the symmetry of the markers/numerals/indices/whatever. Especially in low light situations where the lume is then missing or vastly reduced at that location. No date is perfect for symmetry, date at 4:30 is the next best thing.

Re: Winfield Watch Company
Obviously personal taste, but I don't like the date at 4:30 on a three-hander. On a tri-compax chronograph with a dial at '6' I think it makes sense, but here not so much. On a three-hander I'd prefer it at '3' or '6' and I'll live with a missing/reduced marker there.raf42 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 6:47 pmThis. Honest question. If you are super flexible and even participate in yoga classes 3 days a week.... do you think it’s possible to orally satisfy yourself ? If a man. Asking for a friends xousin.

There’s a lid for every trash can out there. The question to as yourself is are you the lid or the trash can? LOLBradystraps wrote:toxicavenger wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 3:32 pmSo do I Roger. To boot it is also on a black background. So the chances of me seeing it isn't very high.![]()

Same here, my favorite location of the date window for the reasons mentionedraf42 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 6:47 pmThis. Re: Winfield Watch Company
I don’t mind it here either, given that they used a simple font and black wheel it doesn’t harm the composition of the dial.Panerai7 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 4:26 amSame here, my favorite location of the date window for the reasons mentionedraf42 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 18, 2019 6:47 pmThis.
