It looks pretty nice. Monta has some nice pieces but seem pricy in the microbrand department. But the specs look good.
Does anybody here own a Monta?

I think that's a lot better than the GMT. Their plain bezel watches don't do it for me.

You’re still here? Shouldn’t you be on the rep forums learning some important shit about fake Pelagos’?Champagne InHand wrote:It looks pretty nice. Monta has some nice pieces but seem pricy in the microbrand department. But the specs look good.

Terry - If you have a contact at Monta, maybe pass along an idea....
The no-date is a step in the right direction, but a matte dial + silver hands version would be nice. Even better would be to give it a matte finish bezel, like the Wu-Mod Sea Dweller.

Not sure why but I’ve found that a colored seconds hand always cheapens the look of a more expensive watch.

I know I come across as a bit of a Monta basher, but damn if those guys can't do a nice dial and hour and minute hands. Just really nice.

Yeah, I like hand to align with something on the dial. These arbitrarily hit midway on the markers.

I have owned the Triumph in the past. Personally I believe now one in that price bracket touches their finish work.Champagne InHand wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 11:27 amIt looks pretty nice. Monta has some nice pieces but seem pricy in the microbrand department. But the specs look good.
