New clothes for the PO

Post by mrsnak » Sun Jan 02, 2011 4:37 pm

Have had my 2208.50 orange bezel Planet Ocean for a few years now. Decided to treat myself to a change and picked up a NOS Omega black bezel and had it swapped out on Saturday. Not an orange hater (or especially tired of it), just fun to now have an option.

Looks good Snak-can you swap it yourself? I haven't tried to get an Omega bezel off as of yet.

Options are good to have and yours looks great snak. Did you do It yourself or take it to a watch guy?

I had it professionally done. Even the watch guy said that because it takes a certain amount of finesse to press in the new bezel (you need a press), it's not something you want to be doing frequently.
Am loving the orange numbers and second hand marker as the accent to an all black watch.

Big fan of the orange bezel but the black bezel/orange numerals combo is my favorite.

I think if I ever get another I would get the same. Just a little splash of colour yet still tasteful. Omega is good at that.

The orange numerals really set the dial off without the sledgehammer in the face of the full on orange PO.

yep, that's how mine came originally but oddly enough, I wouldn't mind an orange bezel to mix things up a bit. How much was the bezel by itself, Kurt?
