I really enjoyed the one I had, but two things got me to flip it. The finishing on the bezel, and the noisy movement. I think those both got addressed in this version. Could be a real winner.

Just got my pair yesterday and unfortunately the movt noise has not been resolved. These are very noisy. None of my 2824’s sound like this.

I went with the fixed bezel on both for the reason you mention about the poor finishing on the dive bezels but now wish I tried it on the grey dial version I got.

Still trying to understand what the cult following is all about over these. They’re nice watches but I’m def. not enamoured over them like many are. I do have to say the pastel blue dial looks great.

It’s a nice clean no nonsense watch.

It is a nice watch. I just think that it isn't worth the premium some people were asking on the used market. Maybe that is calming down with the preorder process - I can't say since I stopped looking.

Each time I see one, I think I should try again, but the noisy movement would still bug me.

Sold mine local for $800 but had people asking and willing to pay a premium. I like the watch but I’d not pay a premium for it personally.
