Black Panther tonight on the outdoor screen. Family has come up so we’ve been through two separate bottles of scotch...we’ll see how long the movie lasts. Brother in law brought his latest:

Been watching Luther from BBC on Netflix. Really liking it.
Is it a new one? I saw the old one and it was really good.
Not sure. It was 4 seasons with each season getting shorter. Really good.
Just watched Mr. Church with Eddie Murphy and it was a serious role for him but really good.

Was a really solid movie. First few scenes we're a bit tough to watch for the Mrs.

Watched 12 Strong last night. Great story about the first American mission in Afghanistan after 9/11, but I felt the execution was lacking. Still worth seeing.

Wife and I went to see Dead Pool 2 yesterday, we both enjoyed it, I’d say better and funnier than the first.

Well, guys. I had a tough one with this movie. Bought this movie a while back. But just couldn't bring myself to watch it. Yeah, I know, just a pussie I guess. ...
Anyway, finally took the plunge, and watched it over the past few days, just a few minutes here and there. I finally finished watching it, and it did not disappoint.

I saw it this weekend, and actually liked the first one better. The 2nd one was still really good, and people should definitely see it if they liked the first one.

I liked Solo a lot. I will say my expectations going in were fairly low.

Solo was pretty good but seemed more like Guardians of the Galaxy than Star Wars.

Just finished season 4 of Bosch on Amazon. LOVE this series! Well worth watching if you like good detective stuff.
Also watched Last Flag Flying. Pretty good story.

Just finally watched Blade Runner 2049. Beautifully filmed, but I'm not sure the story had much of a point. And it's really long.

I didn’t get the ending until I read some analysis. Then I understood, and was still pissed that I wasn’t satisfied with what could have been a grail.

Agreed, not bad, and entertaining.
But as franchise spin-offs go, I liked Rogue One better.

Rogue One was the best SW yet. Period.
