The FAD seems solid to me. Quoted me 30% off on a PO last year, which I thought was more than reasonable (and I came very close to pulling the trigger). Seemed like a very nice guy on the phone as well.

Oh, don't get me wrong. Jim is the man.

He's just not an AD anymore. Evidently, the warranty follows the watch though so it's really a moot point. He can't buy any "new" watches w/ AD warranties but I believe everything he has now contains a full Omega warranty. I'd buy from him again in a heartbeat.

I bought my Speedy from Jim back in '07 and he was great. I probably go with an AD though if they could give 30% off, which is probably getting more and more rare.

I've gotten quotes from two Omega dealers lately who gave 30% off without batting an eye. :thumbsup:
