Re: New smaller Seiko NAFT
kinda a waste of a watch with cyclops and only 2mm smaller, probably still too big for those who said SRP was too big.
By the way the new SRPC23K1 sunray grey dial looks nice and BLNR looking one SRPC25K1

New smaller Seiko NAFT
It’s a different case style so not 100% comparable, 2mm can make a big difference here because the case tapers down more towards the lugs. It’ll cover a lot less real estate overall. It’s less squarish. Maybe shorter too.
Also the crown placement....

Yep. And honestly, even with my small wrist and preference of 42mm or less watches, I love wearing my NAFT. The short lug to lug makes it work.

That grey does look good.
I really like my NAFT but it is a bit bigger than I would like. I don't really like the dial of this smaller offering though.
Re: New smaller Seiko NAFT
They cocked-up the 12 o'clock marker. WTF, Seiko?

They copied the copy

Re: New smaller Seiko NAFT
If the cyclops is glued to the top of the crystal, then it can be easily removed in about 30 seconds with just a lighter and a razor blade. Now, how do we remove that damn X from the dial?
Re: New smaller Seiko NAFT
Fun fact: the X on the dial secretly adds 5m of WR to the watch. Otherwise, the dial would have to read Diver's 195m

I don't like that dial, the blue dial on the NAFt is way better. I also don't like not having crown guards on a sport watch. The cyclops sucks, not because its a cyclops (I didn't mind the one on my ExpII), but I hate a round cyclops for a square date window.
Dimensions look weird, but could be the picture.

Re: New smaller Seiko NAFT
It's not horrible on it's own. However, it's a much less attractive watch than the NAFT (which I think looks great).
Re: New smaller Seiko NAFT
I’ll most likely try this one. I loved my old srp padi but thought it was just a bit too big.
If they had a plain black dial with black bezel I would try it even sooner.
I don’t mind the crown either. I like it with no guards.

The case makes me think of the round pendant at top of this picture. It's amusing.

I don’t particularly like that specific dial. I’d wear a blue-dialed version. Size may be spot on for me. Liked the naft but it was a tad too large for my taste. I did prefer crown at 4 but like this but unlike you i do like no CH divers like my Oris or Raven, the B.B. ...Joeprez wrote:I don't like that dial, the blue dial on the NAFt is way better. I don’t like the X in either one but not a show stopper.
That cyclop is by far the worst thing for me but wonder how it looks in the metal.

I am betting this is typical "hate on the crappy stock Seiko pics" and then when they are actually released 80% of the people here will try one, including me.
