Someday I'm going to need a dial for my Marine Master, and I won't be able to buy one 'cause they're all in "mods" with their feet cut off glued to the movement spacer.

Re: Post your Seiko Mods
Not sure what "Oyster style" means exactly (you're trying to get your Seiko to look like some Rolex maybe?), but how do you use a 24 hr bezel with a 12 hr movement?

My buddy Rane at Time Zone showed this to me today.
My cel photos do not do it justice... it's freaking awesome in the flesh
Here is the breakdown:
Zimbe Turtle Dial, SBDC005 Sumo hand set, 4R36 movement, Kanji day wheel, SARB crown, Crystal Times sapphire & coin edge bezel and bezel insert from eBay

Re: Post your Seiko Mods
Just got this picture from Duarte. He finished my SRP777 mod.
Added a Padi dial, blue AR sapphire, and coin edge bezel.
Keeping is a simple blue and black.

Yes but probably way more fun picking out everything for the mod and I feel like I missed out, this makes me want to do another one. But already have my 3 favorite seikos not sure what to do next...maybe when I sell one in the future I will start over (once tired of them)toxicavenger wrote:That is super cool.
