No idea about the quality though
Pretty sure there`s at least one or two on this forum that has one, sure they`ll chime in later on

No first-hand experience, but I only recall seeing positive comments about them.

They are very, very well done IMHO. Do a search under my name (SCM64) on WUS and you should find several threads with comments from me and other owners. That's a big sucker, so be prepared for that. The owner of the company, Joe, is also a great guy.

Here is a picture of mine. Rock solid and I love it.

Having owned 2, I'd say you get a lot of watch for the money.
Used, they're in the vicinity of $1000.
Once you're in the $1300-$1400 range, you're in Sinn U1 territory. Then the questions arise regarding value and aesthetics.

I haven't got one. imo they r not cheap but not overly expensive either. i had the chance to try on a friend's trimix, very nicely built, one of the most accurate bezel action to date. They made vintage design watches popular again. They have a xmas sale atm and r too tempting, maybe i will get one afterall. DSR1000 my personal pick!

You get a helluva lotta watch for the money, imo. I had the original 1st gen model of that one with the pirate dial and the 24 hour bezel with the lume pip at 24. Had paolo18 make a killer deer leather bund strap for it, and then bought the upgraded mesh from Joe Sadri, the owner, who is great to deal with. I miss mine and kinda wish I had got more wear out of it on the gasgasbones strap before I sold it. Like Jay said, if you get one with the full kit for around $1000, do it.

Right now, Zixen (used to be Zinex) is having a sale. So, you can get a lot more for your $$.

Personally, I like them. My DSR500 has been my ONLY WATCH since July. Hasn't left my wrist. Love it.

Buy with confidence!

It's an anti-micro brand thing.

I would normally agree, but the Zinex/Zixen brand is as good as many name brands, IMHO.

I'm not a big fan of micro brands, having owned several over the years. I would however buy a ZIXEN from Joe in a heartbeat. ZIXEN has ridden out the storm of being a new micro brand. They are established, have a very good product, and even better customer service. I think they will be around for a while.

Of all the micros, Zixen is one of the good guys. Great quality. They are a bit big though.

I had Zinex second model that had the GMT function on it.One thing I can say is the customer service is great my mesh bracelet was the older one with out a few links to get it just right was too loose sent the bracelet back Joe resize it and sent it back.I am not into really into large watches so I traded it other wise I would still own it.I am like DMB just not into Micro brands so I have not bought another since Zinex. My brother has the first model Zinex made it's a tad smaller than the ones Zinex makes today he likes it if I had that one I would of kept it because I liked the size of that model. If Zinex is what you want go for it one of the better micro brands.
